JOBI McAnuff joined the 'Orns in the summer of 2007 from Crystal Palace signing a three year deal in Hertfordshire.
McAnuff began his career with Wimbledon before he moved across London to West Ham United. His career at Upton Park lasted only a short time though and in 2004 he moved to Cardiff City.
It was here that he began to earn rave reviews at Championship level and with Cardiff having their own financial problems they sold the Edmonton-born midfielder to Crystal Palace.
McAnuff came up against Watford in the play-off semi-finals in May 2006 where the Hornets of course overcame the Eagles and marched on to the Millennium Stadium.
After much speculation he finally made the move to Hertfordshire in June 2007.
Aidy Boothroyd's new signing made a impact straight away, appearing 41 times in his first season in a yellow shirt with his stunning strike against Cardiff City at Vicarage Road winning the Goal of the Season award in 2007/08.
During the 2008/09 season, McAnuff enjoyed more regular first team football under the management of Aidy Boothroyd and Brendan Rodgers, flourishing on the wing under the direction of Rodgers' team in the later part of the 2009 campaign.
The fast-paced winger enjoyed a season of 45 appearances which ensured that Jobi was not only a familiar face on the pitch but a favourite with the Vic Road crowd too.
