WATFORD'S former England Under-21 goalkeeper has now clocked up over 130 games for the Golden Boys.
There's no question that among the best remembered of these is his substitute appearance against Reading at Vicarage Road in 2008 - Loach's League debut - when the Royals scored their now infamous 'ghost goal' during a 2-2 draw.
He went on to feature over 30 times in 2008-09 under three different managers; Aidy Boothroyd, caretaker boss Malky Mackay and then Brendan Rodgers. A first England Under-21 call-up came in February 2009 as a reward for some solid early performances.
The Nottingham-born keeper, who was recruited into Watford's Academy set-up as a teenager during Boothroyd's tenure, went on to be ever-present in the League for the Hornets in 2009-10 and repeated that achievement in 2010-11.
Earlier in his Vicarage Road career, Loach gained invaluable experience during loan spells at Stafford Rangers, Morecambe and, most notably, Bradford City - where he impressed the Bantams' faithful towards the end of the 2007-08 campaign.
Currently in possession of the first XI goalkeeper's jersey, the 6ft 3ins Loach is quick to recognise the competition he faces for his place from Watford's two other professional stoppers, Rene Gilmartin and Jonathan Bond.
