RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
AFTER watching the game against Hull three times this week, Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd doesn't want to have to ever watch a re-run of such a sorry performance and result from his team.
The defeat inflicted by the Tigers on their own patch, cut deep with the manager and even more so with the fans who made the journey to east Yorkshire.
With six games remaining there isn't time for any slip-ups the size of those experienced last weekend, there may not be room for any minor blips either - quite simply the 'Orns have work to do to catch the top two. Although judging by the twists and turns that have taken place so far, the Championship rollercoaster may have one or two left.
With two home games in the space of five days the Hornets have a real opportunity to get back on track in front of their own supporters.
Coventry are up first at the Vic - an opportunity to wipe the taste of defeat out of the system for Boothroyd's men.
After watching the DVD of the Hull game the manager said: "I tend to watch the games two or three times, whether we win, lose or draw.
"But that one was particularly upsetting from start to finish, even though it's nearly a week later I'm still seething a little bit.

"There are lots of excuses aren't there? Several changes in the team, long distances covered to Plymouth and Hull - but all of that is nonsense.
"There are no excuses, we have to take responsibility and accountability for that. It was an unacceptable performance.
"The bottom line is we've a game in hand and we have to start winning - that is a fact. We won't start winning if we play like we did at Hull."
The Sky Blues are now under the stewardship of ex-Fulham boss Chris Coleman, who took charge in February. In his 10 games in charge they have a mixed record; winning and losing three and drawing four games.
They are three points above the relegation zone, too close for comfort and they'll want to continue their recent good form after a great win away at Plymouth and a draw against fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday.
Yorkshire man Boothroyd isn't too concerned about opposition at this stage - it has to be all about his team but he knows that yet again it will be a battle.

Adding: "It doesn't matter who is there - we know what they're about, a new manager as well. They'll be up for this as they're in a fight of their own."
According to the Championship's longest serving manager the Hornets need to produce and back up their statements.
"Talking about it is fine" said Boothroyd, "but it's about walking the walk and making sure we do that on Saturday."
Four home games in the space of a month and the backing of the Vicarage Road crowd can provide a potential '12th man' for the Golden Boys in those crucial fixtures, but what can those fans expect from the 'Orns tomorrow afternoon?
"Every Watford team I've ever put out and every Watford team that's ever gone out there has a prerequisite for hard work and running - on that particular day we were just shell-shocked. We looked liked a team that was bottom of the table.
"We set our target of winning the league at the beginning of the season and that's what we're trying to do.
"At Watford we have to win it's as simple as that. We take collective responsibility for whatever happens here, winning promotions, relegations, FA Cup semi finals - being eight points clear and, if all goes well, promotion this year. We have to bounce back from that performance."
Injury-wise all is well in the Watford camp - which means it will be suspensions having the biggest impact yet again.
Darius Henderson serves the last of a two-match ban, while ex-City player John Eustace is still missing in midfield. Finally, Steve Kabba is available for selection after his red card was quashed by an FA Disciplinary Hearing.
Scotsman Gareth Williams returned to the second string midweek but he is still a long way short of first team action after missing the last year.
Mart Poom, Lloyd Doyley and Lionel Ainsworth all kept their fitness ticking over with appearances for the reserves against Queens Park Rangers on Monday evening.
