ANDREW TAYLOR-MADE FOR HORNETS

Posted on: Wed 01 Sep 2010

EX-ENGLAND Under 21 international defender Andrew Taylor has signed for the Hornets from Middlesbrough on a loan deal until January.

The left-footed 24-year-old joins former Boro youth-team colleagues Danny Graham and recent signing Josh Walker at Vicarage Road.

'Tayls', who was capped 15 times for the 21s and at all age groups on the way up to that level, formed part of the Middlesbrough side which lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2004.

He enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at Bradford City in 2005/06 before returning to Teesside and winning the acclaim of the Boro faithful when stepping in for Julio Arca at left back.

Andrew has made over 100 appearances for the Reds and will wear squad number 3 for Watford.

We'll have manager Malky Mackay's reaction to the signing later today on watfordfc.com
