FORMER stars of both Watford and Derby County will meet at Pride Park in September as the two clubs join together to raise money for former Hornet Nigel Callaghan.
Derby County are kindly hosting the event to raise money for 47-year-old Callaghan, who is suffering from bowel cancer.
The match is taking place on Sunday 12th September, with kick-off set for 1.00pm.
During his distinguished playing career the former winger turned out for both clubs.
He played an integral part in Watford's success during the early 1980s.
Callaghan was a talented wide right player and he played his part in England winning the UEFA Under-21 tournament in 1984.
He made 215 league starts for the Golden Boys and netted 42 goals.
He moved to the Baseball Ground in 1987, where he was part of Derby's title-winning side, taking them into the top flight in the 1986/87 season.
A number of high-profile legends have already confirmed their attendance on the day, including current Watford Chairman Graham Taylor, as well as Luther Blissett and John Barnes.
Other former Golden Boys on show will include John McClelland, Nigel Gibbs, Steve Palmer and Iwan Roberts.
Former Players' Association founder Neil Price has been involved in recruiting a team of former Hornets and he too will take his part in the matchday squad.
All funds raised on the day will go to Nigel Callaghan, the Bobby Moore Cancer Research and Lewis Mighty.
Tickets are now available to purchase for the game, costing £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
They can be purchased from the Derby County Ticket Office by calling 0871 472 1884 or by logging on to wearederby.com.
