WATFORD'S new black and red away replica kit was officially launched (yesterday) at the Club's Open Day at the Metropolitan Police Club in Bushey.
It has proved to be unbelievably popular with supporters as it recorded the highest opening day sales for a Watford away kit.
Sales of the new BURRDA produced home shirt are also up by over 30% on this time last year.
The Club is incredibly grateful to our new sponsors and kit manufacturers BURRDA for their assistance over the summer.
BURRDA especially flew in a large quantity of home shirts to satisfy the pre-orders made in June.
Additionally, at short notice, BURRDA flew in a quantity of the new away kits so we could incorporate the away kit launch into the Open Day.
Michael Jones, Watford's Head of Business Operations, said: "Unfortunately, beyond anyone's control, our first official delivery of home and away kit has been delayed en-route by sea and although we are still expecting it ahead of the first game of the season, we were delighted and grateful when BURRDA made these special arrangements for us."
The Club is hopeful of expecting another delivery before this Saturday's pre-season friendly with Charlton at Vicarage Road. We will keep you updated here on www.watfordfc.com as to what stock will be available at the weekend.
Supporters are encouraged to buy tickets in advance if attending Saturday's game with the south Londoners.

Tickets cost £10.00 for Adults and £5.00 for U16's/Over 65's.
Please be aware that the match is reserved seating and season/fan cards will not be activated for the game. Instead, all supporters attending this match will be sent a bar-coded ticket after their order has been processed.
Despite a low attendance forecast for this match we would like to advise supporters to purchase tickets ahead of the matchday to avoid potential queues outside of the turnstiles.
To encourage sales in advance for this fixture we can confirm that there will be no booking fee or mailing charge to do this when buying online or over the phone.
