WATFORD Legends are making a name for themselves in the town again, and this time it's between the stumps!

The Watford Legends XI cricket side beat Langleybury by three wickets in a narrowly contested game which saw former Watford player Ian Bolton hit the winning runs on Friday night.

It was the second Watford FC cricket match of the summer following their nine-run defeat to Chipperfield Clarendon last month.

The proceeds from the match are being spilt between the Former Players Association and Cry - Cardiac Risk in the Young - a charity close to the hearts of many in the Langleybury community.

The charity was chosen in memory of Dale Tennent-Butler, who died suddenly while playing football last year at just 18 years of age.

Watford Legends XI would like to thank everyone who attended the game and supported the charity.
