WATFORD begin their pre-season friendlies this Saturday (10 July) as they make the short journey to face non-league neighbours Boreham Wood.
The Hornets will play at Meadow Park, which is also home to the Golden Boys' second string side.
The game kicks off at 3.00pm and it will be the first opportunity for supporters to see Malky Mackay's squad in action this pre-season.
New signings Tom Aldred and Rene Gilmartin both look set to be part of the squad to face Wood.
Boreham Wood are in the Football Conference Blue Square Bet Division South.
Tickets will be available on the gate at Meadow Park and cost £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
