ACADEMY youngster Gavin Massey has committed his future to Watford after signing a two-year professional contract with the Club.
The highly-rated striker has attracted much interest, but the Golden Boys have secured the services of the first-year Academy scholar for another two seasons.
He made his first-team debut on the final day of the season, coming on as a second half substitute against Coventry City.
The 17-year-old is a product of the Club's Academy system and was part of the first intake of youngsters into The Harefield Academy in 2007.
After spending two years at the school, Massey started his scholarship with Watford last summer.
The Watford-born striker has represented the Club at both Under-18 and reserve level this season and he was part of the side that reached the FA Youth Cup Quarter Final.
In May 2008, Massey was a member of The Harefield Academy side which lifted the English Schools' Football Association under 15 Schools' Cup for Boys at Vicarage Road.

That same year he was part of Watford's senior squad at the prestigious Milk Cup tournament in Northern Ireland, the Hornets finished third after losing out to eventual winners Manchester United, Massey himself scored the winning goal to ensure the third-place finish.
Massey again represented the Club at the tournament in 2009.
The striker will continue his education alongside his duties as a scholar.
