WATFORD finished their reserve season with a thrilling 4-4 draw against Northampton today (Tuesday) in the totesport.com Combination East Division.
The first-half produced a spectacular seven goals in the afternoon clash at Sixfields.
Watford had a young team on show, including a number of Academy scholars amongst their squad.
The hosts took the lead after only two minutes as Josh Urquhart beat Jonathan North in goal for the 'Orns.
With less than 10 minutes on the clock, Gavin Massey grabbed the equaliser.
The first-year scholar made his debut for the first-team on Sunday and continued with his fine week by finishing from close range.

Gary Mulligan restored the lead for Northampton on 15 minutes and then Courtney Herbert made it 3-1.
Michael Jacobs secured the fourth for the Cobblers on 24 minutes as they continued with their impressive strike-rate in front of goal.
To their credit, the Hornets didn't stop battling and slowly but surely came back into the game.
Schoolboy Michael Kalu was brought down nine minutes before the break and Lewis Young converted the spot-kick.
Three minutes later the Academy graduate again found the net as he pulled the scores back to 4-3.

The game took a while to get going again the other side of the half-time interval. Watford's 'keeper North had to wait until 75 minutes in to pull off a save to deny Northampton's Chris Dunn.
A minute later the Golden Boys netted their equaliser through Massey as he latched on to a forward ball and finished calmly, with style.
Late on Andy Yiadom could only watch as his effort was saved, but it had been a dramatic final game of the campaign for the young Hornets.
Today's draw means Watford won the East Division league by eight points.
