THE League Managers Association five-man Performance of the Week panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, were in agreement that this week, the F&C Investments Performance of the Week Award should go to Watford following their excellent 3-0 home win against Reading on Saturday 24 April.
The victory secured Watford's Coca-Cola Championship status and resulted in the club earning the F&C Performance of the Week Award for the first time this season.
Watford manager Malky Mackay received a specially engraved crystal football presented to him by Sky Sports' Johnny Phillips at their London Colney training ground yesterday (Friday). The presentation will be screened on Sky this Sunday (2 May).

Danny Graham opened the scoring for the hosts on 30 minutes, with the Hornets dominating the first half. Heidar Helguson made it 2-0 early in the second half before another Graham strike secured their win.
Malky was delighted with the performance and result which ensured his side will be playing Championship football next season.
"I think a lot of what has happened at this football club this year, there has been a lot of trying and testing times that are well documented.
"And I think for us to stay in the division, which was the target all along, the group of players thoroughly deserve that."
