ADRIAN Mariappa has signed a one year extension to his current deal at Vicarage Road.
The defender had another year left on his existing deal but has signed an extension that will keep him at Watford until the summer of 2012.
The Harrow-born versatile defender has been ever-present for the Hornets this season and has captained the side in the absence of Jay DeMerit.
Mariappa has progressed up through the ranks at Vicarage Road and to date the 23-year-old has already made over 150 appearances for the Club.
