WATFORD'S Community Ambassador Award this evening (Sunday) went to Club captain Jay DeMerit at the Club's End of Season Awards Dinner in association with the Watford Observer.
Held this evening at Shendish Manor, the American centre half proudly accepted the award on behalf of his work within the community.
It is the second consecutive year that the USA international has won the award and he follows on from Richard Lee and Clarke Carlisle who have collected the award in recent years.
The award was sponsored by John Lewis, Watford.
