AFTER the Hornets got back to winning way against Ipswich Town, Assistant Manager Sean Dyche is keen to see the team continue their positive reaction as they take to the road for the next two games.
Malky Mackay's right hand man spoke to www.watfordfc.com in the middle of an action packed month for the Golden Boys.
Despite not picking up as many points as he would have liked this month, the former central defender has seen enough to believe that good results are around the corner if they continue in the same manner.
He said: "We're great believers in our performance levels, as well as obviously winning football matches.
"It's hard when there's emotion involved, but when you take that away and watch a game again on DVD you can sometimes see that it wasn't a particularly bad performance.
"Against Peterborough, mistakes cost us the game. But performance level is very important; we took a good standard into the Ipswich game and deservedly got three points.
"Perhaps in the Peterborough game we looked a little bit more nervous than we had done against Swansea, but we created chances and that's how close the margins are.
"The big thing in football is about a response and we got that.

"We got a great response, the fans were great on Tuesday night, I must say that.
"We believe in performance levels, we believe in what we're doing and the players do too."
When the Tractor Boys came to The Vic, Dyche believes the players were rewarded for their strong start.
"That was clear against Ipswich in the way they started and went about the game" added the former Chesterfield defender.
"Even when Ipswich got one, the fans stuck by us and made the team more relaxed and I thought we got stronger as the game went on.
"The fans are a valuable asset to us for sure, we understand when they get frustrated.
"I think they understand the parameters like the pitch, but the players have been excellent and their will and desire to do well for the Club is fantastic."
Looking ahead to facing the Bluebirds, Dyche knows the game is an opportunity to achieve a result on the road.

Cardiff have been beaten on 13 occasions in the League this season, including five defeats at their new home.
"They are another club with quality in the building both individually and collectively" commented Watford's number two.
"We have the capabilities to win football matches and dispel this away record.
"We're working to get away wins, to get good performances away from home and take points.
"You want to finish every game on a high. Usually if you're performing well, goals start going in and you start winning football matches.
"I would be worried if performance levels were low, then it can be hard to affect it.
"If you improve your minimum then your maximum will be greater.
"We believe in improving that minimum standard, outside factors come into play such as the pitch and referees but we can't control them, so we have to control the controllable, which we think we're doing and the players are doing."
