AFTER finding the back of the net for the reserve team yesterday (Wednesday), Will Buckley is looking to progress further between now and the end of the season.
Since the 20-year-old signed from Rochdale in January, the youngster has been working with the Hornets' medical team to ensure he was fully-fit before starting training with the 'Orns.
That process has gone well and Buckley spoke to www.watfordfc.com to talk about how he's settling in.
"Things have been going very well for me.
"I started training about four weeks ago and it's been about getting my fitness back since then.
"I've played in the last three reserve games and have been getting more minutes each game and I managed to get 90 minutes against Ipswich on Wednesday."
Despite having not been match-fit, Buckley has been joining the squad on the road and getting used to his new team mates.

"I was used to travelling already from my time at Rochdale but it has helped me keep in with the group and has been good for team-bonding."
Buckley completed the game for the second string against The Tractor Boys after sitting on the bench for the first-team against the same opposition the night before.
"Ipswich put a good side out but we had some experienced players too and we're all eager to impress" added the attacking player.
"I was up for it and it was a competitive game. Liam Henderson slipped me in behind the defence and I managed to score the first goal.
"I'm just looking to be included in things between now and May.
"The team did well the other night so I'm certainly not expecting to start straight away.
"However, if there are injuries or if the manager chooses to change things round I'd love to step in and do well for the team."
Buckley is likely to be in the matchday squad again as the Golden Boys face Cardiff City this Sunday (21 March).
