IPSWICH RES 0 WATFORD RES 2

Posted on: Thu 18 Mar 2010

WATFORD completed their second win over Ipswich Town in two days as the second string beat the Tractor Boys at Portman Road.

The game finished 2-0 to the 'Orns as David Kerslake's side scored either side of the break.

Will Buckley netted the first on 14 minutes after Ed Upson lost possession and his Ipswich colleague Pim Balkestein slipped, before the former Rochdale man fired home past experienced 'keeper Richard Wright.

The score was doubled on 53 minutes with Lewis Young getting the final touch over the line after a scramble.
