AFTER signing a new deal with Watford until 2013, England U21 goalkeeper Scott Loach spoke exclusively to www.watfordfc.com.
"Obviously I'm delighted" said the talented young stopper.
"These's been a lot of speculation about me staying at the Club but at the end of the day, I want to play games and I'm only 21.
"I'm at a great club with a great young management side which I 'm sure will be here for a long time as well and if I can stay here while they develop and help me develop then it will be good.
"I want to continue to rack up games with Watford and that's all I ever wanted to do."

Loach: "I'm at a great club" |
Loach revealed that Hornets boss Malky Mackay had a lot to do with the success that the 'keeper has had over the last year and a half.
"Malky put me straight back in after Aidy Boothroyd had gone, I think sometimes people forget that it was Malky who put me back in the squad before Brendan Rodgers came to the Club.
"Malky's always had faith in me. I want to keep doing the work right and working hard. I'm thankful for everything and I just want to stay here and keep playing."
Malky himself went on to express his happiness at the youngster committing his future to the Golden Boys.
"I'm delighted he's signed again because not only is it good for his long-term career but also his Watford career.
"In time I think he will become a Premiership goalkeeper and I hope to see him play for England as well.
"I've watched Scott's progression over the last three years, since coming to the Club as a young boy from Lincoln and you're now looking at a guy who is a commanding figure in the Championship and the number one Under-21 goalkeeper for England.
"We made sure he wasn't thrown in too quickly when he first came here as a 17-year-old, and that he was given time.
"I'm immensely proud of his career progression" continued the gaffer.

Malky: "I'm immensly proud of Scott" |
"Scott is in an environment here where he's being educated everyday by Alec Chamberlain. He's worked hard, been pushed and always gets quality feedback so he looks at his game and sees where he can improve.
"Alec has been his mentor all the way through and along with him, his family and his advisors has kept him very level headed through some difficult times and especially in January, when there was a lot of interest him in.
"Throughout this period though, Scott was very clear in letting us know that he wanted to stay here and play every week.
"It would have been quite easy for him to force the Club's hand and demand a move to Premiership club but he knows that for the long term and the good of his career he needs to keep improving and keep playing here."
