THREE Hornets were in action for their respective Under-21 nations last night (Tuesday) as they took part in qualifying games.
Defender Lee Hodson, who has been an integral part of the Hornets' first team set up this season kept a clean sheet for his country in Northern Ireland's 3-0 win over San Marino last night (Tuesday).
The British team cruised to a comfortable victory in Serravalle, with Hodson crossing the ball to Manchester United youngster Oliver Norwood to assist in the first of the three goals.
The second was scored by Jamie Lawrie and Norwood finished the night with another strike for the Northern Irish who had previously only taken one point from five games.
Golden Boy Michael Bryan also joined in on the action against San Marino, entering the field on 58 minutes.
Northern Ireland U21: O'Neill, Hodson, Flynn, C McLaughlin, P McLaughlin, Weir (Jarvis 84), Evans (Boyce 46), Norwood, Lawrie, Kee (Bryan 58), McKay. Subs not used: Devlin, Ramsey.
Stephen McGinn, who joined the Hornets in the January transfer window from St. Mirren, turned out for the Scottish U21 team in their 2-2 draw against 10-man Azerbaijan in their European Championship qualifier at the Falkirk Stadium on Tuesday.
The youngster was the subject of a controversial disallowed goal, which boss Billy Stark claimed was a legal strike and should not have been disallowed.

Stephen McGinn's disallowed goal could have won the game for Scotland U21's team |
Watford's McGinn replaced Paul Coutts in the 75th minute with the game level at 2-2, thanks to a penalty from Aberdeen striker Chris Maguire and a header from substitute Leigh Griffiths.
With five minutes remaining it looked like he had scored the winner with a low drive, only to see the assistant referee flag for offside.
Stark said "He [McGinn] was clearly onside. You had Leigh Griffiths coming back out and maybe that confused the linesman.
"With the offside law the way it is just now, that's something that can happen.
"It was just unfortunate that he didn't see Stephen come in that wee bit later because obviously he finished it well."
The point earned in the Scots a place at the top of Group 10 but they will now face tough opposition in their remaining games against Belarus and second-placed Austria.
Scotland U21: Martin, Caddis, Easton, Scobbie, Perry, Coutts (McGinn 75), Arfield, McDonald, Maguire, Goodwillie (Griffiths 45), Murphy. Subs not used: Gallacher, Mitchell, Wilson , Shinnie, Loy.
Don't forget that Watford's Scott Loach, Tom Cleverley and Henri Lansbury are all in action for the England U21 team against Greece, live on ESPN tonight at 6pm.
