FOLLOWING our earlier update we can now provide further information ahead of tomorrow's fixture with Sheffield United at Vicarage Road.

The club's under-soil heating boiler is now working following a visit from contractors today (Monday).

The heating will be left on overnight in order to prepare the pitch for the game, however the low temperatures mean the system takes longer to become fully operational.

With this in mind the club is placing covers on the southern third on the pitch, this is the area that is not exposed to the sun.

A decision will then be made tomorrow (Tuesday) morning as to whether an external heater will be required.
