McGINN: "I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CHALLENGE"
SCOTTISH youngster Stephen McGinn signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Hornets on Friday and was put through his paces by fellow countryman Malky Mackay at his first training session yesterday (Tuesday).
"Training was a lot quicker and a lot sharper compared to Scottish football, so I look forward to the challenge of Championship football" said the midfielder.
"I'm expecting the game to be a lot quicker and more physical as well.
"One of my big reasons for coming here was the way the team pass the ball and the way the manager talks about passing the ball."
The Scottish U21 international told www.watfordfc.com that he can't wait to get stuck into the action in Hertfordshire.
He added: "I've had very good first impressions of Watford and I'm very happy with what I've seen, so I'm really excited to get started."

He said: "The Scottish link here swayed the decision for me - Don coming down last January and doing so well, and Malky being a Scottish manager, he probably knows more about me than maybe the fans or other coaches here, so that helped."
