TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY

Posted on: Thu 31 Dec 2009

FOR all those fans planning on making the relatively short trip to Stamford Bridge for Sunday's FA Cup tie, the following information has been released regarding the train service for that day.

There are planned engineering works on the Southern Trains service between Watford Junction and West Brompton which will affect supporters' outward journeys from Watford to London.

As a result, fans have been advised to leave at least two hours to make the journey.

Alternative options include travelling from Watford Junction to London Euston on a London Midland Train, then getting on the Victoria Line to Green Park, the Piccadilly Line to Earls Court and then on to West Brompton via the District Line.

You can also travel to Harrow & Wealdstone and take the Bakerloo Line in to central London to change onto the District Line.

For the return journey from Stamford Bridge back to Watford, there are direct trains from West Brompton to Watford Junction at every 47 minutes past the hour from 5.47pm.
