HORNETS PAY LOCAL VISIT
AFTER a morning training session, a select group of Watford's players made the short trip to Watford General Hospital yesterday (Wednesday), for their annual visit to see patients and families, armed with presents to put smiles on some faces this festive period.
Captain Jay DeMerit, fellow defenders Lloyd Doyley and Mat Sadler, midfield general John Eustace, striker Danny Graham and Academy graduate Lewis Young all attended the hospital to see some local children.
Watford's players visited several wards, greeting and chatting with patients and their relatives.
Graham said: "It's not nice that the little kids have to be in hospital over Christmas, so it's nice for us as football players to come down here and put a smile on their faces just before the Christmas period.

"The people of Watford come and support us, week in week out, so it's important for us players to take some time out of our schedule and put something back into the community, it's a nice thing to do and very worthwhile."
