THE Golden Boys were backed by a huge travelling support at Reading today and they saw the Hornets come away with a well-deserved point.
The away end was packed, with the travelling supporters creating noise all afternoon.
Speaking on the level of support inside the stadium, Watford boss Malky Mackay said: "I think it's fantastic anytime we can bring such a large travelling support, we had around 3,500 supporters there today.
"As far as the players are concerned, to come and see a sea of yellow, it inspires them and it brings a real atmosphere to the ground as well.
"So I'm delighted that they travelled here today."
Watford Chairman Jimmy Russo: "I would like to thank everyone who made the trip to The Madejski Stadium today.
"The noise generated was fantastic and their backing had a real influence on the team."
