PLAYERS TAKE TO THE CATWALK
IT'S only 3 days until Watford's annual Open Day and the event is sure to be a great day out for all Hornets fans!
Jay DeMerit, Scott Loach, Richard Lee, Adrian Mariappa, Danny Graham and Billy Gibson will be strutting their stuff to music along the catwalk as they show off Watford's new home and away kit as well as some exclusive training wear.
Mackay and his coaching staff will be bringing the first-team squad for a warm-down training session and you will have the chance to meet the team during the signing session in the gymnasium - so make sure you bring your autograph book!
On the day we have some fantastic activities taking place including a football freestyler, Boxercise display and lots of taster courses for you and your family to get stuck into.
Throughout the day there will be kids' entertainment, from a mini-big top circus, gladiator contest and giddy up horse!
This will be the perfect opportunity to get hold of Watford's new official 2009/10 replica kit, after you've seen it brilliantly modelled by the Watford players! Staff from The Hornets Shop will be there on the day with all the latest merchandise and replica kits.
Watford's award winning Community Sports & Education Trust will also be in attendance.
There will also be KitAid collections for you to donate your unwanted kit (shirts, shorts, boots etc) to go to a good home in Africa, Asia or Eastern Europe.
Graham Taylor is the patron of KidAid and since they formed in 1998, the charity have sent out 90,000 items of kit.
Please help the cause by donating on the day.
The event will take place at Westfield Community College, Tolpits Lane, Watford, WD18 6NS on Sunday 2 August, the day after the Hornets take on Parma at Vicarage Road.
The Open Day will open at midday and doors will close at 4.00pm.
