BOSS Malky Mackay was a satisfied man after watching his side beat Boreham Wood 4-1 on Saturday.
The Scotsman played a varied team of young and old and made wholesale changes to his outfield players at half time.
"As far as picking individuals out, it's way too early for that" the gaffer said.
"All the players were up there and on match tempo.
"They all had a hunger and an attitude and that's what I am looking for at the moment."
However, new signing and scorer of two goals on the day, Danny Graham, managed to catch the manager's eye.
"It was great to see Danny score on his debut - I've got a lot of hope for him.
"It was a fantastic goal and great to get early on too.
"Scott Severin was introduced to the group as well - and that was good to see too."

Mackay: Pleased with performance |
Mackay revealed that he was pleased with his squad so far, which bodes well for the rest of the campaign and the new season ahead.
"I'm just glad the lads have such a good work ethic at the moment.
"You look at what we've got and we have energy and enthusiasm - that's what I'm looking for and that's what I'm getting from the players.
"There's obviously going to be ins and outs all over the country but for the moment, every guy out there is putting the work in for Watford and that's the main thing for us right now."
The Golden Boys are next in pre-season action against Wealdstone and Hampton and Richmond this Saturday (18 July).
