WATFORD Ladies became the first team to win the title on two occasions as they replicated their 2007 victory at Wembley last Saturday (20th July).
The Golden Girls overcame competition favourites Curzon Aston 3-2 (aet) to get to the final and earn the chance to play on the hallowed turf for a second time.
The final was to be no different as the girls took opponents TNS Shrewsbury into a nail-biting extra-time thriller which concluded in a 2-1 win for Watford.
Watford manager Sian Williams was very proud of her teams' achievement.
"This wasn't our most experienced team but they showed from the first round that they have the character, fight and energy needed for success."

Player of the Tournament, Charlie Nicholson said she was delighted to be recognised for her contribution to the win.
"It was an amazing experience. To play at Wembley is something we all dream about as kids, but you never think you'll actually get the chance to do it.
"The fact that we won and that I was honoured with the Player of the Tournament title just made it an unforgettable day."
