WITH only a month to go until the first of Watford's pre-season fixtures, it's time for football fans to start putting those all important dates in the diaries.
Some players haven't started their holidays yet with Watford skipper Jay DeMerit on international duty with the USA in the Confederations Cup in South Africa and goalkeeper Scott Loach is involved with the England U21s in their Euro 2009 Championship.

There are also the key fixture dates and all the pre-season information you need to know to be on top of the game this summer.
June 15: Loach and the England U21 boys kick off the Euro 2009 Championship against Finland in Sweden (KO 5.15pm)
June 15: DeMerit and the USA begin their Confederations Cup campaign with a game against Italy in South Africa (KO 7.15pm)
June 16: Carling Cup First Round draw is announced at 9.30am. Watford are in the south-seeded group
June 17: Fixtures for the 2009/10 season are released at 10am
June 18: DeMerit and USA face Brazil in their second Confederations Cup fixture (KO 3pm)
