WEALDSTONE will be holding a testimonial for manager Gordon Bartlett to mark his contribution to the non-league club.

The testimonial will be against Brendan Rodgers' development squad on July 18th at Wealdstone FC.

Gordon, a former Portsmouth, Brentford and Denver Dynamos player has completed over 900 Matches as 1st Team Manager with the North London club.

He joined Wealdstone in June 1995 having previously had successful spells as manager of Yeading, Hounslow Town and Southall. 

Gordon took Hounslow Town to promotion and League Cup success, led both Southall and Yeading to FA Vase finals at Wembley and also gained two promotions with Yeading.

Since joining Wealdstone, Gordon has guided the team to four promotions and the winning of the Middlesex Charity Cup Final in 2004.

Wealdstone and Watford have a strong history and their manager is a good friend of the club.

Players such as Marvin Sordell and Dale Bennett have been on successful loan spells at the club, and young Hornet Liam Henderson started his career at the non-league outfit.
