WATFORD have confirmed the dates of their pre-season tour to Barcelona and several pre-season matches.

The players return to training on June 29th and set off for their Spanish training camp on July 21st.

The pre-season matches start with the traditional first friendly of the season against Borehamwood FC on July 11th.

On July 18th, Watford's development squad will travel to Wealdstone for a testimonial friendly for Wealdstone's manager and friend of WFC, Gordon Bartlett.

The first of the home pre-season matches at Vicarage Road will kick off on August 1st (opponents TBC).

11 July - Borehamwood FC vs Watford (first XI)

18 July - Hampton & Richmond FC vs Watford (Watford XI)
                Wealdstone FC vs Watford (Watford XI)

21 July - Squad travel to Barcelona for training camp

27 July - Friendly game against good level Spanish opposition, in Lleida (opposition TBC)

28 July - Squad return from Spain

29 July - St Albans FC vs Watford (development squad)

1 August - Friendly at Vicarage Road (opponents TBC)
