WATFORD FC had many satisfied fans, former players and backroom staff after Tuesday night's celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of the 1984 FA Cup final.
Watford FC would like to thank all the guests who came to the evening at Vicarage Road and to those who have sent such lovely feedback to the club.
A great night was had by all those who attended the event and here are a few of the letters we received.
I must congratulate you and all your staff for the absolutely fantastic night last night. My wife and I could not fault it.
The food was excellent and plenty of it for the ravenous and the evening went off fine. It was nice to meet and talk to what were heroes in my time. I am 65 years of age and I was running around like a teenager(yes, I can just about remember) getting players to sign the programme. So well done to everyone and please you must do it again.
Kind regards
Graham Smith
My wife and I would like to thank you and everybody at WFC for a really splendid evening last night. It was very nostalgic for us and it was wonderful to catch up with so many old friends from the past.
I am in regular contact with the Taylors and the Plumleys but so many other old friends were there. May I also compliment the Club on the idea of us meeting upstairs an hour early before coming downstairs.
Wishing you and all at WFC a good summer.
Kind regards,
Muir Stratford

Further to our conversation can I say on behalf of my son and me - what a fantastic evening. It was great to see and talk to some of the legendary names. Well organised and friendly, so typical of the Watford we know.
I will be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to Neil Price and Mike Vince.
With best regards and thanks.

May I just send you and the club a massive thank you for a terrific evening of nostalgia and such a wonderfully warm and friendly celebration.
The whole thing was very professional, but immensely enjoyable. I had taken a friend who is very experienced in corporate hospitality including meeting royalty and she was blown away by the whole the heart-felt mission and history of Watford Football club. She is now a proud season ticket holder along with me. The players and staff were so approachable and the food was great too!
Thank you for the memories and here's looking to an exciting future for the 'Orns.
We will certainly keep an eye out for future events.
Kind regards
