LATVIAN international Sasa Cauna had his dream first start for the Hornets last Tuesday night as he netted the first goal against Southampton in a 2-2 draw.
Cauna, who is currently on loan from Skonto Riga said it will be a night he will always remember.
He said: "Having just played some full international games, I felt I'd done well. But before, when I was thinking about the Watford game and my first start I was a bit nervous.
"But to start for Watford, play okay and then score a goal, I was very happy and happy to see the fans so pleased for me too. I think I scored because the goalkeeper didn't see me on the ball, if their defence had been there I don't think I would have scored."

Young Cauna is getting used to the English way of football having been on trial at Blackburn, Sunderland and Chelsea, where Brendan Rodgers knew him from.
"Brendan is a very good manager; I went back to my club telling my manager how good the training was - it was very quick and lots of balls into the area, I really enjoyed it; Brendan is a great coach.
"The Championship is very physical and all the teams are hard to play against. As I play more games, I start to see how good the league is. Watford is a great club and I like them a lot."
As well as impressing in this country, 21-year-old Cauna has played for Latvia recently, in their European qualifying games. But he sees his future firmly on English soil.
"To play in the internationals was great for my confidence and my fitness. To move from Watford reserves to Latvian international then to Watford first team was a good progression.
"I want to play in England, I enjoy it so much and I want to stay here. The football here is very good. "
