CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH
BRENDAN Rodgers has plenty of choices after the international break, as he looks ahead to the test against Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat tomorrow (Saturday).
Captain Jay DeMerit was the last player to return from international duty and re-joined the squad at London Colney this morning (Friday).
The squad assembled later than usual for training yesterday to allow the other international players to return from around Europe and take part in a light session.
Winger Aleksandrs Cauna enjoyed the most football and will benefit from playing both matches for Latvia.
Tamas Priskin appeared briefly for Hungary and was back in Hertfordshire yesterday.
As was Scott Loach, who appeared as a substitute for England under 21's in their 5-0 win over Norway.
Jack Cork didn't play for The Three Lions at under 20 level after returning to Watford for treatment on an ankle knock he picked up in training; the Chelsea loanee is however fit for Championship action this weekend.
Speaking on the return and possible fatigue for DeMerit, Rodgers said: "Its just one where we need to make sure that his preparation is right.

DeMerit is due to return against Doncaster |
"As I say he's been away and he hasn't played so we'll just make sure his recuperation is right.
"I know from experience from working with international players at other clubs that when they come back it doesn't normally kick in until 48 hours afterwards, once they've made travelled.
"So sometimes it is good for them to do a light session, he will be involved Friday and in the squad on Saturday.
"He knows his body and he'll be fine for the weekend."
