HORNETS ON CALL

Posted on: Mon 23 Mar 2009

WITH a break of two weeks now underway due to the international fixtures, a number of Watford players will be across the globe representing their home nations.

Tamas Priskin received a recall to the Hungarian squad after his recent purple patch for the Hornets and he is part of the squad to play Albania and Malta.

Goalkeeper Scott Loach, who pulled off a string of fine saves at Portman Road on Saturday, has again been included in the England under 21 squad.

Loach is part of the squad to face Norway and France.

Aleksandrs Cauna is on duty with Latvia and is part of their squad for their two clashes with Luxembourg.

Watford captain Jay DeMerit has linked up with colleagues from America and is part of their squad for the games with El Salvador (Saturday 28 March) and Trinidad & Tobago (Wednesday 1 April).
