'ORNS LOSE RASIAK

Posted on: Sat 14 Mar 2009

WATFORD boss Brendan Rodgers this evening revealed that striker Grzegorz Rasiak will be missing for three to four weeks.

The loan front man from Southampton was stretchered from the field against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night with a groin injury.

Speaking this evening, Rodgers said: "He actually tore his abductor, which is a tissue injury which needs time to heal and is part of the recovery process."

The manager added that Tommy Smith will be back in training for the early part of next week, while captain Jay DeMerit has been training and is likely to be available for Wednesday's game verses Cardiff City.
