AFTER having a hand in all four Watford strikes this afternoon, wide man Jobi McAnuff can be more than satisfied with his work at Vicarage Road, as the 'Orns beat Crystal Palace 4-3 in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
McAnuff took the corner kick that led to the first and third goals, while he provided the pinpoint crosses for the second and fourth.
He said: "We made hard work of it, but we got the result and we can look forward to watching the draw.
"We've been playing fairly well of late but we've been conceding some bad goals, like we did today, but luckily we got a few at the other end.
"As a team we need to eradicate the mistakes and I'm sure we've got more than enough to pull away from our league position."
The victory was all the more sweeter for the former Eagle as he received some time-honoured chants from the supporters of his old club, who were based behind the goal in The Vicarage Road end.
Speaking on providing the ammunition for the goals, he was pleased to have played his part, adding: "I've been feeling good lately - it's nice to be a part of goals, it's part of my job and I had a hand in all of them.
"In the last few games we haven't put the chances away, as a team we're progressing and playing some good stuff in patches, the main thing for us is to keep some clean sheets and put in some good performances at the back."
