AFTER the Hornets' 4-0 defeat at the hands of Steve Coppell's Royals, on-loan defender Gavin Hoyte said that they just couldn't pick themselves up.
In the first half all did not seem lost for Brendan Rodgers' boys, with some positive passes being made in midfield, but after the break and quickly three goals down the Golden Boys just couldn't find the back of Federici's net.
"I think we let our heads go after Reading's second went in" said Hoyte after the whistle had blown on the defeat at The Madejski Stadium on Friday night.

"We weren't getting any shots on target. We had to keep playing and pushing forwards but we didn't.
"Yes, we could have defended better but we also had our chances.
"Reading are a top team but I think we're just as good. They took their chances and finished them at the end of the day."
