SUPPORTERS who travel home using the M1 northbound carriageway should be aware of some roadworks taking place this evening (Tuesday).

The M1 closed overnight last night (Monday) and will do so again tonight between junction six and seven.

The closure is to take place on the northbound carriageway, this Thursday the southbound carriageway will be closed in this area. Both closures take place between 10pm and 5am.

Drivers on the M25 clockwise wishing to join the M1 northbound will be diverted to J21A.

Here they will pick up the diversion above and M25 anti-clockwise traffic wishing to join the M1 northbound will be diverted off at J22, via the A1081, A414 to M10 at J1.
