OH WHEN THE SAINTS...
Tue 21 Oct 2008
WEMBLEY Stadium becomes the home of the New Orleans Saints on Sunday (26 October) when the NFL stages its second competitive game outside North America.
After a sell-out crowd saw the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins last year in the inaugural Bridgestone International Series game, the Saints play host to the San Diego Chargers in a match that is vital to both teams' Super Bowl hopes.
The Saintsations, the team's famous cheerleading squad, will be on the sidelines helping to bring the razzmatazz of the Louisiana Superdome to the home of English football. They will be performing before and during the game as Wembley samples a slice of Mardi Gras and witnesses the drama of America's biggest sport.

The Saints are based nearby at The Grove in Watford and tonight Vicarage Road can offer a preview of Sunday's excitement when the Saintsations perform at half-time.
