HORNETS RECEIVE THE CALL
A HANDFUL of Watford players will be away with their countries over the international break, including midfielder Al Bangura who has received his first ever call-up from Sierra Leone.
Bangura and his fellow countryman are due to face Nigeria in Abuja on Saturday. The tough tackling midfielder received a late call-up on Monday and subsequently was unable to appear for the Hornets in their reserve fixture against Charlton at Boreham Wood.
However Bangura will return to Watford after the game with Nigeria, he will not appear in any of Sierra Leone's home games due to security fears over the 20-year-old.
In other news, captain Jay DeMerit is away with the American team, they are preparing for games with Cuba and Trinidad & Tobago.
Irish midfielder John-Joe O'Toole leaves this weekend to join up with the Republic's under 21 squad, as they prepare for a friendly with Lithuania.
Finally, Academy defender Lee Hodson is already away with Northern Ireland's under 19 squad.
