HORNETS SIGN LOAN 'KEEPER
AIDY Boothroyd has today (Tuesday) made his second loan signing in the space of a week as he moved to sign cover for 'keeper Richard Lee.
The Watford boss has captured goalkeeper Mark Tyler on loan from League One side Peterborough United for one month.
Tyler is a 31-year-old stopper and is Peterborough's longest serving player having appeared on over 400 occasions for the Posh.
He arrives at Vicarage Road after a wretched injury crisis has hit all areas of Boothroyd's squad.
The latest casualty is rookie 'keeper Scott Loach who didn't finish the game at the weekend having damaged abdominal muscles connected to his hip.
He was replaced by Academy graduate Lee who has gone from the third choice to number one in just over a week.
Veteran goalkeeper Mart Poom is already out of action having dislocated his shoulder in the game with Reading at Vicarage Road - he will be out of action for up to six months.
Tyler is available for tonight's game with Burnley at Turf Moor and will join up with the squad immediately.
