THE club has been informed of essential gas mains replacement work taking place soon in Watford.

Work will start on Monday 22 September and is expected to last for five weeks.

Gas pipeline company National Grid is carrying out essential gas mains replacement in Hempstead Road (A411) and Grove Mill Lane, Watford.

To carry out the work safely, the following traffic management measures will be necessary while the project is underway:

- Hempstead Road will be narrowed to one lane, from Grove Mill Lane to opposite the junction with The Drive. Temporary lights will control traffic flows.

- Grove Mill Lane will be closed to through traffic, with access for Grove Mill Lane residents only. Motorists who would normally use Grove Mill Lane will be diverted via Langleybury Lane, A41 Watford Road and A411 Hempstead Road.
