WE would like to remind Watford supporters about the latest car park arrangements for the 2008/09 campaign at Vicarage Road.

As in previous seasons there will be no facility for supporter match day parking on the site of the Watford General Hospital. In addition to this the club have been informed that 250 spaces previously under our control are no longer available to us.

However, the Club have been able to acquire car parking on the site of Laurance Haines School, which is further along Vicarage Road. This facility is now only available to specific permit holders and we would like to apologise to those supporters who previously used this facility when it was privately run.

There is car parking currently available at Westfield Community College, a 15 minute wlak from the ground, and permits can be purchased on a seasonal basis from Jane Phillips in the commercial team on 01923 496235 for a rate of £95 per season.

The opening times for Westfield Community College car park are as follows:

3pm kick-off: 11.30am - 7.00pm

7.45pm kick-off: 4.30pm - 11.30pm

5.20pm kick-off: 2.00pm - 10.00pm

There is no parking available for fans at the ground and street parking is exclusively restricted for local residents by way of matchday permits. As stated, we remind supporters that parking is not permitted in Watford General Hospital.

Watford town centre has several car parks, the easiest of which for access to Vicarage Road is Church Car Park on the inside of the ring-road, opposite the turn-off into Vicarage Road. All town centre car parks are within a ten minute walk of Vicarage Road.

Other possibilities are Watford Grammar School for Girls, Cassiobury Park Avenue, and Fishers Industrial Estate off Wiggenhall Road.

There is a charity car park at the Radius House offices in Clarendon Road which offers all day parking. It is in support of the British Legion and GOSH (Great Ormond Street). Parking season tickets are available for £50.
