LEE HODSON'S MILK CUP DIARY
WATFORD'S Lee Hodson has been checking in with www.watfordfc.com and will be bringing you the latest news from the camp in Northern Ireland.
For those of you who don't know the player - the Boreham Wood youngster has just started his first year scholarship with the Hornets.
The defender stepped up early last season and played 26 times for the under 18s in all competitions.
He also impressed the coaches at the club so much that he made nine appearances for the second string - all of which while he was still at school!
Now he is part of Watford's senior squad taking part in the Premier section at Northern Ireland's Milk Cup - which is highly respected in the world of youth football.
The Golden Boys flew out on Sunday and Lee brings us up-to-date with proceedings so far...
"It was a good experience and to be honest I didn't know what to expect.
"When we went on the parade, I was shocked at how many people turn out and how big it was. It was an amazing experience playing against some big teams.
"So this time round I knew a little more and knew what to expect. We arrived in Ireland early afternoon on Sunday and dropped off all of our bags at the hotel and had a few hours to relax.
"It was then something to eat and a meeting about the first games on the Monday.

"At 6.15pm we all met up for the parade - which as I've already said is pretty big. We walked through Coleraine in front of the crowds and went into the Showgrounds arena where all of the teams are announced and welcomed on to the pitch.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was there to open the tournament and he gave a speech about his career and the tournament.
"Yesterday (Monday) we had our first game against English Colleges FA and we were up for the game.
"We went 2-0 up and played some decent football but we got a bit sloppy and let them back into it to make it 2-2. Then Rob Kiernan scored a late winner with a header.
"Overall it wasn't the best performance from us and I think we got a bit complacent after going 2-0 up.
"We were sloppy and started taking too many touches. I started at right back and then switched to left back during the second half.

"Afterwards it was back to the hotel for dinner and another team meeting where we look back at the match and everyone's performance. So we all have to say what can do differently next time, what we've learnt from the game and how we can improve.
"That game was a stepping stone really I think, and today's game was better. We won 2-0 against Co. Antrim and we played some good football.
"We created quite a few chances actually and could have had more. Now we're looking forward to seeing who we get in the next round.
"We watched the final last year between Fluminense and Manchester United, which finished 2-1 to Fluminense.
"It was interesting to see their skillful players and their flair, it was totally different to the English game and we'll have to watch out for that if we face a team like that this year."
Lee will be bringing you further updates as part of his diary here at www.watfordfc.com.
