HERE'S JOHNNY!
JOHN Eustace is buzzing ahead of the all important clash with Hull City tomorrow, having been told that his suspension had been lifted for a wrongly brandished red card on Sunday.
The skipper would have missed tomorrow's clash and a potential play-off final had the FA not correctly rescinded his red card.
Speaking from the team hotel this afternoon, he said: "It's great news isn't it? I was on the train travelling up to Hull when I was told by one of the staff that it had been overturned.
"I must admit I was surprised and shocked to have been sent off and I thought that my season was over.
"It was a bit surreal travelling on the train with the team, not knowing if I was going to be a part of the game or not. But having seen the incident again I was always pretty confident that the correct decision would be made and I'm delighted that it has."
Hull manager Phil Brown had voiced his concerns over what he apparently saw, but Eustace was keen to set the record straight.
"I was really disappointed with their manager's comments. He accused me of head butting one of his men and that it something that I have never done or would never do, it's just not who I am. Thankfully the replays showed that he got that totally wrong.
"It was at least comforting to hear people after the game saying what an injustice it was and now I'm looking forward to going out there tomorrow night and giving it 100 percent.
"That's the feeling shared by everyone here, we're all fired up and looking forward to the game. It should be a good one and we know we've got a job to do."
