AIDY Boothroyd has received several major boosts today (Thursday) ahead of Saturday's trip to Charlton Athletic.
First off, John-Joe O'Toole will be available for the Valley encounter as his red card was rescinded, a wise decision in the eyes of boss Boothroyd.
"It's a sensible decision and made with common sense in mind," said the manager.
On the injury front, Jay DeMerit will be joined by the likes of Tommy Smith on the list of recovered players ready for action against the Addicks.
Speaking of the current injury situation at London Colney, Boothroyd said: "Jordan Stewart is 50/50 and Damien Francis is still out. Tommy Smith is fit and will be available.
"Jordan has got an ankle injury. He got a whack on the ankle late on when we all saw he got injured and got up again, before the referee made him come off the pitch where he exchanged a few words with the fourth official - it was that challenge.
"Damien is not ready, he played 11 games straight after being out injured and there's still a little bit of fluid on his knee and I don't want to risk him. We're looking at two to three weeks with him still.
"If Gareth [Williams] plays again this season it will be a massive bonus for us. He's been doing really, really well and he's been back involved with training. He's been to see the surgeon again and had his knee manipulated and that's the last little push, so he should be back in training in a couple of weeks. We'll take it step by step with him as well."
