NATHAN ON ONE 'ELL OF A GAME
WATFORD'S record signing, Nathan Ellington, will this weekend line up against the very side who sold him to the Hornets in the summer transfer window.
But Ellington has no qualms about coming up against his former friends from The Hawthorns, as he instead looks ahead to winning a place in the Watford front line.
"It's just a normal game here, a game where two of the teams are at the top of the league and a game we are looking at to keep our form going in," said the £3.25million capture.
"There were no bad times at West Brom, I just didn't really get a chance to play as often as I might have liked. My focus is on trying to get in the side here now whilst we're doing so well."
Ellington knows more than most of tomorrow's opponents and offers us his view of Tony Mowbray's side ahead of the encounter.
"They are probably one of the best attacking teams in the league and it's up to us to stop them. I think if we are at our best we have enough to keep anyone quiet on their day, and I think we've got enough to beat them as well.
"I feel like we have got the best all-round package at the moment, and as the league table shows, we're strong in every department."

Ellington is currently being kept out of the Hornets XI due to the red-hot form of Darius Henderson and Marlon King, who between them have already notched 15 goals this season.
"I've come to Watford and unfortunately for me my team mates have been scoring; but that's good as long as we're winning. Our whole squad is chipping in with goals, it's a hard season and I'm sure I'll get my chance to come in and score some goals soon.
"Just as Aidy has said, maybe I have taken those guys to a new level just by being here, it's always going to be good for the team and the gaffer's going to be happy that whoever he plays, they'll score goals.
"That's what you need for a Championship winning team and that's what we've got here. At the moment I've got to be patient, and that's what I am.
"I'm not the only person in that situation here either; Jobi [McAnuff] and Tamas [Priskin] are all in the same boat. Everybody is pushing for a place, but you need to have a strong squad. If somebody gets injured, somebody has to come in and do a job, that's what we've got here.
"At the moment it's me, Jobi, Tamas and a few others not playing, but later in the season it'll be a few others on the bench waiting to get in when we're doing well. Over the course of the season it'll even itself out."
Having previously experienced promotion with Paul Jewell's Wigan side, Ellington knows what it takes to get out of the Championship and he acknowledges there are shades of the Latics' winning formula here at Vicarage Road.
"I think the organisation is definitely apparent here, it's very similar to Wigan and as long as you have that as your building block then that's the most important bit.
"If you have good players, good togetherness and that organisation element then you can go far. We can't have anything less than aiming for the top and aiming above what other teams have done in the past because if you do that then even if you come short, you should still have enough to achieve your aims."
