VICARAGE Road Stadium has been added to the short list for the Pride of Place poll.
Watford Borough Council has entered the 'Pride of Place' poll that is being run by Government News Network East. Council staff and Elected Mayor, Dorothy Thornhill suggested a shortlist of ten venues in Watford for residents to vote as their favourite place in Watford. The shortlist is:
Cassiobury park
Cheslyn house and gardens
Harlequin shopping centre
Peace Hospice
Skate park at Lower Higher Street/Water Lane
Pump House Theatre & Arts Centre
Vicarage Road Stadium - Home of Watford Football Club and Saracens
Watford Colosseum
Watford Museum
Watford Palace Theatre
Vicarage Road is currently in second place with 18% of the vote - so get voting!
The Pride of Place poll is part of the Communities and Local Government's 'Connect to your Council' campaign which encourages citizens to make their council websites a first port of call for services and information.
