WATFORD FC would like to congratulate Golden Girl Sabrina Roach who has been named in the England Schools U15 squad.
Roach, who has been one of the outstanding performers for our U15s this season, found out late last week that she had been selected following the final trial held at Staffordshire University on January 22nd.
She will no doubt feel very much at home within the squad considering there is a large contingent of former Watford players who were also selected.
Watford FC would like to congratulate Shayla Burgess, Alysha Stojko-Down, Zoe Cohen and Amber Tullett on their inclusion in the squad. All four girls were part of the Watford FC U14 side last season.

Sabrina Roach, who has earned her first U15 England call-up |
Roach's inclusion in the England Schools U15 squad means that she will become the first player within our newly formed Girls' Centre for Football Excellence to represent her country.
This shows that our new Female Player Pathway at Watford Football Club is still able to offer players a pathway into international football at junior level.
The squad also highlights a fantastic achievement for female football in Hertfordshire, with 5 of the 18 players coming from our county. Only one other county had more than one representative player, if any players in the squad (Derbyshire, 2). This is a credit to the hard work of the Hertfordshire FA, schools and grassroots clubs in Herts, who offer players some excellent opportunities to develop as players.
Watford FC's Community Sports & Education Trust are very proud of Sabrina's achievement and we would like to wish all of these girls the best of luck with the England squad this season.
Well done girls!
