WATFORD FC's Girls Centre of Excellence received a double boost this week as the results of the AFA Player of the Season awards were announced for 2007/08.

With an estimated 500 girls representing the 10 professional clubs that make up the FA Girls Centre of Excellence London and South East League, it was two Watford players who scooped the prestigious end of season awards.

Players of the season for season 2007/08 are as follows

Under 10's - Ellie Jenner - Watford

Under 14's - Davina Revelle - Leyton Orient.
Under 16's Georgia Kearney-Perry - Watford
