ARE you a female footballer aged between 6 and 16 years-of-age? 

Would you like to play football at the highest national level? If the answer is 'yes' then this is for you.

The FA's Female Centre of Excellence programme has 52 centres nationwide offering talented female players a route into Academy football and making the progression from school and local football to a professional Centre of Excellence environment. 

Granted its Centre of Excellence License back in 2001, Watford FC's Community Girls' Centre of Excellence is entering into its' ninth season and one of the most established Centres in the south east.

Since the start, the Centre's aim has always been to recruit and develop talented female football players within a highly professional environment as well as offering support and guidance to all its players, plus open doors for individuals striving for international recognition at U15 and U17 level.

The Centre currently runs teams at U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 respectively with the best players recruited from all over Hertfordshire and surrounding areas all over the south east, which is no easy task as last season we witnessed over 440 trialists looking to be selected.

All the age groups train twice a week where they receive high quality and enjoyable coaching from our FA qualified coaches under the supervision of our 'A' License Director. 

The Centre also provides players with medical support from our team of qualified female physiotherapists at training and on a matchday.

Watford FC will soon be starting the process of trailing process for the 2009/10 season at the following age groups;

All sessions will take place at Parmiters School, High Elms Lane, Watford.

Please make a careful note of the relevant dates of birth for the respective age groups listed below. As you will see a two-year age banding applies.

U8's (Born between 01.09.01 and 31.08.03)
U10's (Born between 01.09.99 and 31.08.01)
U12's (Born between 01.09.97 and 31.08.99)
U14's (Born between 01.09.95 and 31.08.97)
U16's (Born between 01.09.93 and 31.08.95)
